DJ Funkstar wint optreden op Dancetour in Goes
GOES – De 24-jarige DJ Funkstar mag op 25 juli optreden op het podium van Dancetour op de Grote Markt in Goes.
Die prijs won hij vrijdagvond tijdens een DJ Knock Out in ‘t Beest, waar de jury hem als beste van vier deejays zag. Funkstar, oftewel Elton Amat uit Wilhelminadorp, nam het op tegen Ramon Anthonise, Perezoso en Miss Charley. Amat kwam via drumles in aanraking met housemuziek. Zijn bedrevenheid leidde onder meer tot boekingen als opwarmer voor Sean Paul en Lil’ Wayne. Amat draait vaak in Noxx (Antwerpen), De Hooizolder (Westkapelle) en El Toro (Goes).
